Baby Signing Courses
Toddler sessions
We now run three toddler sessions each week. These include a 30/35 minute fun signed sing-a-long session with time for chat, questions and socialising over a biscuit and drink afterwards.
Primarily, these are jolly sing-a-longs where we continue to use lots of the signs from our baby signing classes. We have added some concepts for older children (such as more colours), some knee-bouncers and other action songs suitable for older children.
We offer two pre-booked sessions per week in Twickenham and Teddington or a pay-as-you-go session in Hampton.
Many of those who have asked us to run such sessions have been parents whose children have attended our courses for one or two (sometimes three) terms and want to continue signing just for fun. But don’t worry if neither you or your baby has prior experience of signing – it really is easy to pick up. We have been running toddler-aged sessions at local nurseries, childminding groups, libraries, numerous toy libraries since 2000. We have seen how much older babies and young children enjoy watching and copying the signs even if they haven’t signed before. We look forward to seeing you soon!
